C G N    Summer Timetable Sunday 10th April 2005 Photos of damage to the stern of PS Rhône

On the return sailing 33 from St-Gingolph to Lausanne in strong north winds the paddle steamer hit Vevey La Tour pier hard and damaged her stern Fortunately she was able to continue her sailing along the Swiss coast to Lausanne After repairs during the week, she returned to service as planned the following weekend The following pictures by Jean Vernet show what happened
