The Company Crest The Llandudno and Colwyn Bay   Tramway Society   The 1936 no 7 on the promenade at Rhos-on-Sea "2007 - The Year of the Tram" 2007 is the Centenary of the "Opening of the Line" in 1907 December 2006 - work starts on making the roof watertight February 2007 - mounted on its road trailer May 2007 - the driver's end vestibules are fitted note the 'new' crest and fleet number transfers May 2007 - the first stairs are fitted Highlight of the year The full size replica Tram No.7 will be on public display at various locations within the Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Colwyn Bay areas (see below for provisional dates - times to be advised later) The official "Big Launch" took place at Llandudno and was the centre-piece of the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza and Transport Festival weekend (5th to 7th May 2007) (May Day weekend) The replica tram No.7 - mounted on a road trailer - and hauled by a steam powered traction engine subsequently took part in two official parades from Llandudno Station round the town before spending Sunday afternoon at the Transport Festival on the Bodafon Fields at Craig-y-Don and Monday afternoon in Mostyn Street located on the original tramway route - where it was seen by thousands of visitors as it brought back memories of over half a centruary ago !
