unusually operated the
0440 special sailing from Luzern to Rütli
for Rütlischiessen
on Wednesday 10th November
2004
Since 1961, the last time this paddle steamer was rostered to operate
it,
the annual special sailing has traditionally been operated by
one/two of the large SGV motor vessels
However 2004 gave the rare chance for an early morning
mid-week winter sailing on the largest paddle steamer on Lake Luzern
with the oportunity to see the morning light appear over the lake
as shown in the follwing pictures taken by Alexander Dietz
