Car Parking near Snowdon is very limited and can be expensive if a space can be found

The alternative is to leave your car behind and use the
Snowdon Sherpa Bus network

It is possible to get a Sherpa to climb Snowdon
by any of the main tracks from most places in the area
every day throughout the year

(except Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day)

Why not go up one track and return down another ?
without having to worry about finding and paying for a car parking space

During the winter the mountains are often covered with snow and ice - ONLY properly equipped, experienced walkers are advised to attempt climbing to the summits
If you fall into such a category and want to use the Sherpa, please see the appropriate "Table" (below) and remember the last journeys home are quite early in the winter
- make sure you have properly planned ahead

BEWARE
Some early morning bus connections are very tight and cannot always be relied upon
Where this is the case, alternative earlier journeys are shown on this website
If you are unfortunate enough to miss one..........
..........you could end up arriving TWO hours later or more to start you climb !!!!

Remember - if the weather is bad or you find the going is too hard
- turn back
