PS Wengi (ex-PS Giurgiu)
Will this Romanian paddle steamer eventually sail on the River Aare ?
Sadly, following a lively meeting of the Society on Monday 7th April 2003,
it now seems unlikely - a completely new vessel may be the only option
and then only if sufficient funds can be raised
"PS Giurgiu" laid-up in Romania
The purchase of "PS Giurgiu" had replaced the original asperation to rebuild the
"PS Cetatea" - also laid-up in Romania
