was withdrawn from service at the end of the 2005 season for a major re-build Following lengthy discussions about possibly giving her a dark battleship-green livery for her centenary it was ultimated agreed she would retain the more popular 'white' livery Advance proposals show the to again remain based at Thun and operate (ie - one round trip from Thun to Interlaken followed by an evening sailing to Beatenbucht - rather than just Merligen as in 2005 - most Tuesdays to Saturdays) Immediately after her re-build, two days of special sailings are planned to celebrate her 100th Birthday at the start of June before operating daily until followed by just a couple of Sundays (rather than continuing into October as in previous years) |
