Whilst this website is kept fully up-to-date with all alterations advised to the webmaster
latest times should always be confirmed from official council sources, such as.......

UPDATES
Their "Sherpa Page" now links to the "pdf" version of the official printed leaflet  - note Tables "S1" and "S6" are withdrawn for the winter
Separate timetables can also be found from links on their "Individual Timetables Page" including Sherpa "S4" and "S97"
BEWARE
There is insufficient running time given for the council subsidised "1715 "S97" journey from Porthmadog to Pen-y-Pass making the last arrival at Beddgelert UNRELIABLE
IMPORTANT
The "6B" northbound journey from Llanrwst along the Ogwen Valley has been retimed EARLIER than shown
Gwynedd CC, TravelineCymru and Llew Jones websites are out of date - confirm latest times direct with Llew Jones on 01492 640 320
PLEASE NOTE
The alternative weekday late-evening return services from Bangor to Llandudno are completely revised.....
The vening departures from Bangor to Llandudno are completely revised to depart Bangor 1837,  1947,  2047,  2147 and 2247 - all strarting from Caernarfon as a "5C" journey 32 minutes earlier.....
....not at the Caernarfon times shown in the revised timetable on their website

   website
UPDATE
    - their website has been completely re-vamped - the bus
information page has basically become an "index of links".....
     a)  the 'plan your journey' box at the top simply takes you to
the TravelineCymru website  (see below for ERRORS on that website)
     b)  the 'Conwy public transport guide' link takes you to a
'pdf' file of the 'May 2017' printed bus timetables booklet

BEWARE - there have been chages to some non-Sherpa local Llandudno area services from the start of October and further changes to connecting tables "5," "12," "13" "X1" and "X19" as well as minor alterations to the "S2" are planned to commence at the start of January - these can be found from separate links on the same page
     c)  the 'Snowdon Sherpa timetable and map' link takes you
to a 'pdf' file of the full Summer 2017 and Winter 2017-18 leaflet
(make sure you now use the right-hand table)

The "6B" timetable (along the Ogwen Valley) is SILL not included even though it re-started operating back in early-2015 - despite now being included in the index to places served and on the maps !!!
(note - the latest times can be found here by ringing Llew Jones on 01492 640 320 but NOT ANY OFFICIAL WEBSITES)
BEWARE
If you return from Snowdonia on any of the alternative later journeys via Bangor, - BEWARE the hourly service in now on the alternative half-hour.......

Please click here for services back from Porthmadog
or here for services from Beddgelert and Nant Gwynant
or here for services from Pen-y-Pass and Llanberis
or here for services from Betws-y-Coed
- as confirmed by the official websites

IGNORE Table "70" as it is now out of date (it shows the position immediately after the demise of GHA last year)
Most critical - there are no longer any Friday journeys..........
..........also the detailed times of several Tuesday and Saturday journeys have altered - a change of vehicle is now always necessary when continuing to/from Llandudno
The updated TIMES can be confirmed from the official TravelineCymru or Llew Jones websites (but note the latter fails to show "Tuesdays only" on their version !)
This applies to both the original (January) printed timetable booklet/supplement
AND unfortunately the latest (July) 'on-line' version
  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

 printed copies are available

website - major updates from both July and October 2017
UPDATE
There have been numerous versions of
their on-line timetable since the start of
2017 - due to late changes - some of which
still stem from rectifying the effects of the
demise of GHA last year
If you have already saved a copy of
ANY of their tables,  make sure you have
downloaded the correct version
- if in doubt DELETE it and start again

There is also a coloured printed version
dated "From 9th January,"  and make sure
you also pick up the "grey supplement"
dated "from 26th March"  -  but note the
connecting "70" journeys from Corwen
have since been further revised
(see this website or confirm from the
TravelineCymru one
)

....these provide alternative later connections back to Llandudno from various parts of Snowdonia - it is NOT NECESSARY to catch an earlier "5C" journey from Caernarfon and hang around in the cold at Bangor for half-an-hour as incorrectly shown on their 'journey planner'

Please remember all official publications were only correct at the time
of going to press, so make sure you also have any relevant amendment leaflets/notices
which may appear as the season progresses

[ If I am advised of any, this website WILL be updated accordingly ]

This website attempts to show what services are currently available
along with those planned for future periods as soon as the information has been announced

In particular it highlights known errors in official publications
in order the help avoid visitors being "caught out" !

It contains composite timetables of connecting services on a cross-Snowdonia route basis
including where a change of bus is necessary --- hopefully it will help you plan your days out

It also includes some suggested "trips round Snowdonia - without your car"
from locations within Snowdonia itself
as well as some of which commence from the North Wales Coast resorts by conecting bus or train (thus enabling you to leave the car behind and avoid car parking fees !!!)
