PS Hohentwiel - the only operational paddle steamer on the lake will be 100 years old in 2014 - but once again will not operate to any regular timetable Besides a large number of private charter sailings, she sails most days during the summer on public special sailings to German, Austrian and occasionally Swiss piers Advance Information shows just six days of Swiss sailings (from Altnau, Arbon, Kreuzlingen, Romanshorn and Rorschach) also four others from Konstanz harbour - which is just 3 a minute train connection "across the border" Click here for further details Please e-mail if you become aware of any others
