Z S G    Summer Timetable Advance Information - Summer 2009

The 2009 summer timetable is virtually identical to the one advertised for summer 2008 except the 1440 (short) sailing to Männedorf (often operated by a paddle steamer) will be replaced by a new sailing to Rapperswil and return at 1630 Once again sailings by the paddle steamers are qualified "weather permitting" However is is now expected they will normally operate to a different set of rosters throughout the 2009 season as follows May Mondays to Saturdays - no advertised sailings Sundays and local holidays - 0930 and 1430 Zurich to Rapperswil and return June to September Mondays to Saturdays # - 0955 Zurich to Schmerikon and return Wednesdays to Saturdays # - 1130 and 1630 Zurich to Rapperswil and return # - except local holidays Sundays and local holidays - 0930, 1030, 1430 and 1530 Zurich to Rapperswil and return From the above, it should be noted that the weekly afternoon full-length Sunday sailing to Schmerikon will be replacd by a weekday morning sailing also each paddle steamer will usually have either Monday or Tuesday off-service If YOU have any further information, please e-mail me so I can post it for the benefit of other visitors to this site
