The ZSG completely re-cast their sailings for the 2020 season, and no major changes are expected to take place during 2021 Advance timetables on the SBB website suggest the current "quarter past the hour" departures from Zurich will generally be retarded to "20 minutes past the hour" Paddle steamer timetabled sailings are normally restricted to operate between Zurich and Rapperswil - with one of them rostered at weekends only during April and October then daily throughout the rest of the summer.......... .......... normally operating one or two round trips or occasionally slightly more on the rare occasions the second paddle steamer is also in service covering sailings usually opereted by a motor vessel Later information from the Zurich friends ("Aktion pro Raddampfer") website shows all timetabled sailings could be worked by just one paddle steamer (although whether both and "SS Greif" will celebrate the delayed "50 years" Parade remains to be seen) New for 2021 - it also shows the evening sailing every Sunday between May and September will be operated by a paddle steamer following the lunchtime round trip from Zurich to Rapperswil |
