LATEST....... Arriva have withdrawn their "85" connecting service between Bangor and Llanberis on both weekdys and Sundays Gwynfor have taken over the route from Sunday 31st March with numerous changes to the times BEWARE - all weekday evening journeys are withdrawn..... .....commencing Monday 1st April

Mondays to Saturdays from 4th November 2019 until further notice NO service on Christmas Day,  Boxing Day  or  New Year's Day

BEWARE.............. The last "S2" all-year-round Sherpa service from Betws-y-Coed to Llanberis via Pen-y-Pass departs 1730 (note - the later "S2" Sherpa journey from Betws-y-Coed to Caernarfon at 1840 only operates during the summer period)

Don't dispair         ........in the unlikely event you are unfortunate enough to miss the 1730 "S2" Sherpa there is a later connecting Llew Jones "19" - Arriva "5-5C" journey back from Betws-y-Coed to Bangor and Caernarfon at 1840 There is also a later connection back to Bangor and Caernarfon using the 2050 train ex-Betws-y-Coed THE ARE NO LONGER ANY EVENING BUS CONNECTIONS BACK TO LLANBERIS FROM BANGOR It is necesary to continue by taxi - BUT NOTE IT IS CONSIDERABLY CHEAPER..... .....TO TAKE A TAXI FROM CAERNARFON COMPARED TO BANGOR                 train   5-5C * 19 5-5C *   85     5-5C *   85   train   5-5C *   Betws-y-Coed 1803 - - 18.40 - - - - 2050 - - - Llanrwst | - - 18.50 - - - - | - - - Llandudno Junction Railway Station 1834 walk - | | | | \|/ - - - - 2121 walk - - Llandudno Junction Flyover stop "W" - walk 19.05 19.30 - 20.05 - - walk 22.05 - Conwy - - 19.09 19.29 19.34 - 20.09 - - - 22.09 - Bangor (bus station) - - 19.44 - 20.09 former 2035 journey withdrawn 20.44 former 2125 journey withdrawn - - 22.44 - Caernarfon - - 20.14 - 20.44 21.14 - - 23.14  taxi  Llanberis - - - - - - - - -  taxi  * - normally worked by the same "through" bus       "Red Rover day tickets" are valid on buses on this alternative route
