SUMMARY OF SNOWDON SHERPA NETWORK - WINTER 2025-2026 UPDATE..... Monday 3rd November 2025     The level of Sherpa service on routes "S1" "S2" "S3" and "S4" will redice to a similar level to last winter,  with minor retimings --- the "S6" "shuttle" to Pen-y-Pass is withdrawn for the winter     The level of Traws-Cynru service on route "T10" through the Ogwen pass will reduce to a similar level to last winter Monday 26th January 2026     The level of alternative weekday evening Arriva "5C-5" journeys which provide later jourtneys via Caernarfon and Bangor connecting off the "S1" Shedrpa is reduced     Note specially - the 2056 arrival ae Bangor no longer connects into the 2055 Llanduno bus, DESPITE BEING SHOWN ON THE GWYNEDD CC WEBSITE AS A THROUGH JOURNEY but it does connrct into the last train of the day from Bangor     There is also the last 'through' "5C-5" bus from Caernarfon to Llandudno at 2115

REMEMBER..........     Due to so many last-minute changes to the various services in the area,  unfortunately many official websites (including the TravelineCymru "Journey Planner") continue to show journeys which have either been "CHANGED" or sometimes even "WITHDRAWN"     Where known,  these are also included below as a warning - to help avoid you being caught out !!!     Please bookmark and revisit nearer the time to check if there have been any further known changes since your last visit to this page     Journeys shown on this website with a "strike through" line are still operating,  BUT it is NO LONGER possible to get a (bus) connection back to the start location of the page - eg  1234      Throughout Snowdonia there are unfortunately numerous cases of "sub-standard" connections which are NOT recognised by the TravelineCymru "Journey Planner" (as they are less than 5 minutes) - eg 17.35 17.35     Although this website strongly advises you NOT to 'chance' them.......... ..........they are included to draw your attention to the fact that if everything is 'spot on time' and you are "very quick" - it can sometimes get you to your destination considerably earlier This "unofficial" website attempts to show what is available..... and to encourage greater use of the network also includes some suggested "trips round Snowdonia - without your car"

The last Monday to Saturday "S4-S1" direct Sherpa journey from Beddgelert to Betws-y-Coed WITH AN ONWARD CONWY VALLEY CONNECTING BUS for Llanrwst-Conwy-Llandudno) now departs at 0900 --- there is also a later "S3-S1" connection via Caernarfon at 1302 Later "S1" Sherpa journeys continue to run as far as BETWS-Y-COED ONLY,  BUT there are NO onward BUS connection to Llanrwst - anyone for Llandudno holding a "1bws (one bus)" ticket can depart Pen-y-Pass at 1630 or 1830 and change at Capel Curig to catch the 1717 or 1917 "T10" bus to Bangor alternatively retutn direct to Caernarfon then via Bangor and the North Wales Coast Road using the Arrivs "5C-5" bus from Caernarfon
