LATEST..........
The Conwy Valley Railway Line has at last re-opened,  BUT.....
.....the evening weekday trains REMAIN SUSPENDED

All the regular "S2" connecting Sherpa services are now operated by
'Gwynfor Coaches' and run every day throughout the year #
providing convenient onward direct connections to both.......
Llanberis and Pen-y-Pass
- (start of the main tracks up Snowdon)
also the limited "S4-S97" Sherpa journeys from Pen-y-Pass
to Porthmadog
or Caernarfon via Beddgelert
# - except Christmas Day,  Boxing Day and New Year's Day

There have been several changes to the
Conwy Valley Line train as well as the times of connections along the Wales Coast Line - WITH SOME "SILLY" JUST MISSED CONNECTIONS AT LLANDUDNO JUNCTION

Sunday partial "88-S2" Sherpa services back to Betws-y-Coed from Caernarfon (via Llanberis) remain unaltered meaning the last connecting service departs Caernarfon at 1500
and Llanberis at 1630

The last direct "S97-S4" Sherpa from Porthmadog (via Beddgelert) now departs 1520*

* later connections are available from Caernarfon, Llanberis, Porthmadog and Beddgelert,  but currently these require passengers to use the later 1940 Llew Jones "19" Conwy Valley "bus link" between Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno Junction --- note the only rail tickets valid on this journey are the combined "North Wales Day Tickets"
