IMPORTANT The following "official" announcement appeared on the Llew Jones Facebook page on the afternoon of 18th January 2023     Llew Jones Coaches     "Termination of T19 Bus Service     Llew Jones is proud to serve travellers throughout the Conwy valley and are extremely grateful for the support shown to us by all users of the T19 (Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llandudno) service.     However, due to a huge reduction in passengers since the COVID-19 pandemic, and no indications that the numbers will recover any further, the T19 has becoming increasingly financially unviable, and we have been left with no option but to terminate the service from 11.02.2023 to prevent further losses.     The decision to withdraw the service has not been taken lightly as we appreciate the impact that this may have on local bus users. We have been working closely with Welsh Government, Traws Cymru and Conwy County Borough Council to identify and develop a solution; unfortunately, this has not been possible at this point."

Most pages on this website have now been updated to reflect the Llew Jones "stated" situation - ie withdrawal of ALL "T19" journeys but ALL "19" journeys assumed to be unaltered     Until 11th February the current 'composite' service is shown,  but the 'reduced "19" only' connections to apply from Sundays 12th February/Mondays to Saturdays from Monday 13th February can also be found by clicking the "next period" box towards the bottom of the page concerned     As soon as any formal confirmation is received,  this website will be updated with the latest details - please check direct with the Llew Jones before setting out!!!!!     Your webmaster has been in touch with the company to suggest ways to re-instate "severed" connections at Betws-y-Coed by making minor changes to some off-peak "19" journeys ----- whether any of these will be adopted remains to be seen and if so from when.  Clearly the most desirable starting date date would be co-terminous with the withdrawals
