Following a revised offer, it has been announced the
Arriva "strike" will be suspended from Friday 19th November, pending
a ballot on Sunday which could possibly change things again next week
Most, if not all, of the Arriva connecting
journeys shown below against a "light-grey" background are EXPECTED
to re-commence |
Arriva have
announced that due to a dispute with their drivers ALL ARRIVA connecting
BUSES IN NORTH WALES ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL 19th DECEMBER *
It is understood that other BUS services in North Wales
(including all Winter Sherpa journeys) are running
to their normal winter times
- confirm direct with the operator/s concerned for their latest information
Passengers from Chester and the North Wales Coast Resorts are advised to
travel to
Llandudno Junction or
Betws-y-Coed or
Bangor
by train to join and return
from the Sherpa Bus Network or other locally
run bus connections

Gwynfor announced changes to the Sherpa
timetables for Winter 2021-2022
Basically the "S2" reverted to a 'one bus' operation similar to last winter,
BUT some journeys run slightly EARLIER than during the summer. However the "S4" and "S97"
services have been re-cast (still making limited connections at Pen-y-Pass),
whilst the "S1" and "S6" services have again been "suspended" for the winter..........
